More labs will be introduced over the next few months to cover Windows 7/8/10 and Linux installation and configuration, EIA/TIA 568A/B Ethernet cabling construction, and basic SOHO network setup and configuration. The simulations are excellent but students need to actually touch real equipment. Hands-on labs that cover building a computer from scratch. More labs and new lecture material will be added in the coming months and a notice will be posted each time an update has occurred that you can download. This will continue throughout the lifespan of TestOut's PC-Pro version 5 courseware. As more material is added you will benefit by being able to download the updates for FREE. This material is a constant work in progress. Version 5 was just released and includes new topics that will prepare students for the CompTIA A+ 220-901/220-902 and IT Fundamentals FC0-U51 certification exams as well as TestOut's own PC-Pro certification exam.

#TESTOUT LAB 3.11.4 INSTALL#

Install the PCIe network adapter in Computer 2.

The video card also has a hook on the end. The connector tab for a PCIe card starts with a small tab followed by a large tab.

Install the PCIe, DVI-I, HDMI video card in Computer 2.

PCI-X cards have a notch on each end of the card.

Install the PCI-X network adapter in Computer 1.

Install the PCIe VGA, DVI-I video card in Computer 1.
